How to assure attendance at you next event

Events are marked by the different formats they take according to the client’s objectives, the messages to be transmitted, or even the market trends.

Generally, corporate events do not require of an extra work in order to confirm attendance, what it is usually planned and executed by one of the event management teams, but rather they focus on their employees, clients, partners, or associates. However, there is another event typology in which it is necessary to catch the target attention, in order to elaborate a guest list that really reflect our ideal audience.

This will be the case of Family Days. A proposal conceived by companies that want to provide a family day for their employees, a relaxed atmosphere with a clear goal: motivate the employees and increase their loyalty.

Despite this is the format of a corporate event, there is not obligatory nature in them with respect to attendance, so we must envision our own techniques and strategies to complete our guests list.

Starting from a basic instrument for attendee acquisition as it may be the communication strategy itself, through its different channels: newsletters, internal releases, the popular ‘Save-the-Date’, etc. Communication, in order to be effective, must be personalized. The aim will be, once more, to make the event guests feel unique.

Expectation and wow! effect play a crucial role in any event. Teasing campaigns engage the audiences from the very first minute, making them participants of unique, memorable moments that will later speak in our favor. To these elements we may also add the famous incentives: leisure activities, games, giveaways… Properly announced, they will ensure our audience attendance.

Technology becomes part of this relationship organizer-attendee. App development applied to specific events can be, from the very start, a live tool to keep attendees updated and informed. For this very reason contents must be relevant, and not only regarding the daily information, but the event content as well: speakers, activities, guests, contests, promos…

Apart from big events, brands trust celebrities to enliven the occasions and entertain their guests. Likewise, music groups and singers help in this sense, creating a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Music is a must for any event, as it boost the audience emotional response.
