The 1st International Advertising and Humor Festival Smile Festival bestows 11 awards upon beon. Worldwide recognizing our advertising campaign ‘’Conversaciones de Roscón’’ for Supermercados Ahorramas. Our group also received a special recognition for the excellence and execution of the projects competing in the Festival, and therefore it was appointed ‘Smile Festival Most Creative Agency 2018’.

This 22nd of March, the Festival will gather the most outstanding creatives of the European sphere to highlight the best campaigns using humor as a major advertising strategy.
 
The work achieved by our beon. teams has been recognized in eleven categories: ‘Best Online Viral Action Creativity’, ‘Best Usage of Humor in Online Selfadvertising’, ‘Best Social Media Campaign Strategy’, ‘Best Interactive Campaign Creativity’, ‘Best Integrated Campaign Production’, ‘Most Original Advertising Campaign’, ‘Best Brand Content Efficacy’, ‘Best Food Industry Radio Slot’, ‘Best Humor Use in Direct and Promotional Marketing’, ‘Best Creativity in an Advertising Project’, and ‘Best Web Spot Original Concept’.

Ahorramas will be also awarded as the ‘Smile Festival Most Original Advertiser 2018’, thanks to a campaign full of humor and creativity.

‘Conversaciones de Roscón’
This campaign, accompained by a luscious selection of 12 prizes of 500€, has as main objective to deseasonalize their traditional, homemade roscones or Christmas cakes.
In this hilarious campaign, Christmas traditional dishes served at the celebration table complained about been abandoned as people leave room for the dessert (the traditional ‘roscón de Reyes’). Thus, shrimps, oysters, crabs, goose barnacles, or beef medallions were the incensed protagonists of the advertising pieces. Our teams developed a microsite where Ahorramas costumers who had purchased any type of these Christmas cakes had the chance to win any of the 12 money prizes. Radio slots, internet spots, POS advertising, and different campaigns at social media (Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube), besides display ads.

A blend of humor and creativity which allowed to tell a story, with universal connotations, and a considerable degree of humor, so the audience will not only remember the brand but also keep a warm memory of this product.
