beon. Worldwide is partner and promoter in the musical project El Médico inspired by the famous novel by Noah Gordon. An artistic show that will be premiered at a globe scale at the Nuevo Apolo in Madrid on 17th October, 2018.
A musical mega-production
The literary work was published in more than 30 countries, sold 10 million books, and reached 5.4 million spectator in its film version. Now, is premiered in Madrid as a musical mega-production. An artistic ensemble and setting that will comprise on stage 800 pages of adventure in a show of more than 2 hours of duration.
beon. Worldwide, committed to the cultural sphere through its entertainment division, and more specifically in the field of musical productions, is one of the partners and promoters of this international production.
Besides, beon. Communication agency is responsible of the concept, graphic and audiovisual image of the musical, adapting the designs to the different advertising formats plus designing and developing the official website.
beon., as a communication group with integrated services through its several divisions, collaborates in this international project providing its expertise and know-how, both in the production stages (strategy, management, stage design production, marketing…) and also in the development of the concept, audiovisuals and graphic image, by adapting this image to the different advertising media for the musical off-line and on-line promotion.
beon. Production team has been active part in this project shooting in London the video of the original soundtrack recording by the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) in the Air Studios.
In order to develop this challenging production, the musical relies on of prestigious professionals such as Michael Ashcroft, stage director of Broadway’s Les Misérables; Kevin Killen, U2 and David Bowie musical producer and winner of 8 Grammy awards; legend Bob Ludwig who has worked with Led Zeppelin, Queen, or Jimi Hendrix; Michael Gordon, son and editor of writer Noah Gordon; Lorenzo Caprile, high-couture designer, or famous magician Jorge Blass, responsible of magic and special effects in the show.
The cast include famous voices such as Adrián Salcedo, star in the Disney’s film Tini: The New Life of Violetta, and Sofía Escobar, protagonist during several seasons in The Phantom of the Opera musical in London’s West End.
El Médico also involves a body of top-tier professionals giving shape to this work. Among them, the talented composer and music director Ivan Macías; José Luis Sixto, director; Félix Amador, libretto and lyrics; Francesc Abós, choreographer; and Alfons Flores, stage design manager.

This show, inspired by Noah Gordon’s famous novel The Physician, invites the audience to live the adventures of the protagonist, Rob J. Cole, through a music experience.
The musical El Médico has been fully created and produced in Spain. A super ambitious projects that already comprises 33 stage actors and actresses, and 20 musicians playing live, the biggest orchestra in a Spanish musical so far. A unique show never seen before in any theatre house in Madrid.
