With the claim “The lens that will transform the vision of a whole generation” Varilux X Series, focused on the Generation X, the major brand target and the majority audience within the 1,200 attendees.
During the presentation, a large selection of content was integrated with the scenery through video mapping and augmented reality, while alluring special effects on the stage caught the attention of each of the attendees. The master of ceremonies, Alex O’Dogherty, introduced the ‘wow’ moment of the new lens launching. A drone flying over the square with a camera offered a blurred view of the event. On stage, O’Dogherty waited for the drone to place on it the new Varilux X Series lens, what allowed a perfect clear vision once the drone flew over the space again.
The event closed with an impressive music show including a private concert by Loquillo, a performance by Toom Pak, and a DJ session.
