Revlon Professional Style Masters Show 2018 celebrated its 10th anniversary with a show that exceeded all the expectations at a production level, becoming one of the leading events in the fashion market.
Every year, professional stylists from all corners of the world meet at this exclusive event. On June 4, more than 4,000 people attended at Fira de Barcelona pavilion the Global Style Master Award for the best international hairstylist, awarded at the ‘Style Masters Show’.
At a production level, beon. Worldwide accomplished a staging never seen before in Spain, with a 33 x 18 meters catwalk transformed into a majestic projectable prism. Three of the faces of the prism, two sides of 33 meters and the front face of 18 meters, were continuous projection screens that moved up and down according to the show rhythm. These sides were formed by a total of 28 semitransparent screens of 3 meters wide and 10 long, designed and produced ad-hoc. They moved with variable speed motors and were suspended from a system of trusses independent from the rest of the rigging. A fourth LED screen 12 x 7 meters located at the bottom of the stage created the effect of depth in the projections. This LED wall had an entrance used by models and the rest of the participants. The floor of this great prism, of 500m2 of surface, was also fully projectable with visuals thanks to 6 projectors suspended from the venue ceiling.
A format which allowed to create dynamic visuals, organizing both set-ups and props that completed the stage designs, playing with different settings and surprises during the event.
