“Every time clients and attendees care more about decor details”

Yanira Pérez, one of our Event Account Managers in Barcelona offers her vision on motor events, a real professional challenge for our colleague.

Could you please name the three main traits event account managers should possess in order to develop their work successfully?

To just name only three, I would highlight organizational skills, patience, and problem-solving attitude.

What event format do you usually prefer?

I love automotive industry events, specifically media launches.

Clients from this sector are really demanding, since this type of events has a strong impact on the product they are launching and the brand worldwide. We must offer a constant innovation and take special dedication on small details. This is why working on this type of project is a professional challenge for me.

What are the latest industry trends which are usually visible in events?

The use of new technologies is more and more present, as in everyday life. I would also highlight as a trend the innovation with the materials used for production. And finally, I think that every time, more and more clients pay special attention to the small details at a decoration level.

Should all events include activity programs or incentives to be complete?

I would not say this is absolutely essential. It is something that will depend on the type of event and its duration. For example, it is not the same to held a two-day convention which will be specifically focused in its professional area than planning the annual meeting of a company, that may last three or four days, and where it is crucial that participants get to know each other better and engage with the company values to foster this relationship.
