Business travelers are increasingly taking care of their health

According to a report by CWT, more than 80% of business travelers are satisfied with their trips, though more than 50% of them have suffered some sort of setback.

The most requested destinations for this type of traveler are Hong Kong, Florence, Sydney, Mexico City, and Barcelona among other cities.

In recent years, the business traveler has become a profile with increasingly visibility in company world. It is a representative and corporate image of the brand, created mainly to close agreements and negotiations.

According to the latest study, named above, more than 80% of these travelers decide to take care of their health and well-being while they are away, since they spend more time traveling or staying in hotels than in their home cities.

When booking hotels, eight out of ten executives, are concern about the hotel having sports facilities or if it is near pedestrian areas to exercise, since approximately half of the travelers make room in their agenda to exercise in each of their trips.

Business travelers are also finding a cure for stress and a source of calmness in therapeutic exercise disciplines such a Yoga or Pilates.

When we say that the business traveler is concerned about health matters, it is not simply a question of physical activity, but also a change in their eating behavior. Most of these travelers choose to try to maintain a balanced diet, reducing as much as possible excessive fat, sugar, and fast food in general.

As we can imagine, being a business traveler makes difficult sometimes to find balance and relax. Moreover, this is one of the main reasons why these professionals have decided to take care of themselves both at home and while they travel.
