The Danish company Maersk, one of the leading freight and logistics companies in the world, held its convention in Spain for 2,300 employees of 142 different nationalities. The main objective was to transmit to the attendees the change of mentality of the company, the new challenges and how they should act to comply with the strategic lines set for next year. The event took place during 4 days in different stages, from a welcome dinner at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the central convention in several IFEMA pavilions and the Palacio de Negralejo. An 18,000 square meter pavilion at the Madrid Fair was fully designed and decorated to house the stages, networking areas and different areas so that attendees could be relaxed during lunches and meetings. To meet the objective set, our teams designed and built a set design with two different spaces. The first of them welcomed 2,300 attendees and served as a stage to present the company’s new vision. Once this presentation was finished, attendees were invited to cross the stage to join this new mentality. This original scenography allowed attendees to live in the first person the change, evolution and step to the new stage presented by the company.

As the attendees crossed the stage, they met the new image of the company and an innovative scenery enlivened with the latest technologies such as: video mapping, projection screens, and even a show with 19 dancers. A first-hand experience to impregnate the change of mentality of the company.
