introduction

The First Division of football in Spain, known as LaLiga, developed a Christmas corner in the shopping centers of El Corte Inglés during Christmas. Its objective was to bring this sport to the maximum possible number of fans, enhance its brand image, as well as show its commitment to technology in its daily activity.

results

As a result, almost 90,000 people were able to enjoy a unique space to live the LaLiga experience through the latest technology.

work done

Therefore, it was decided to explore the Spanish geography in the centers of El Corte Inglés in Madrid, Valencia, Seville and Barcelona, creating experiential corners with the use of new technologies such as: 360º videos in Oculus, augmented reality games, virtual exhibitions or chrome custom. A space created for fun, entertainment and play for the fans of this sport, which allowed them to bring the experience closer. Thus the fans had the possibility of putting themselves in the shoes of a professional referee to solve a doubtful play with the incorporation of the VAR (video-arbitration), perceive the sensations that the players experience when they arrive at the stadium, thanks to a 360-degree video and Virtual reality glasses, demonstrate your knowledge about the sports association through an interactive Kinect quiz, or create your own chrome with the equipment of your favorite team. At the same time, in each city, player signature events were managed, creating ad-hoc contents of the local teams and managing the call to press and assistants through RRSS.
