The World Youth Day (WYD) is the event organized by the Catholic Church that summons young people from all over the world with the Pope, and every two or three years it takes place in a host city. This edition was held in the city of Madrid, making Spain the first country to host two WYD.

We were in charge of the live broadcast of the XXVI edition of the World Youth Days. Technical coverage of video and sound was given to two million attendees from 193 countries, signal to all televisions and live broadcasting for 600 million people from all over the world with giant screens and sound equipment distributed throughout the different locations of the travel. It took kilometers of wiring, hundreds of structures, more than 200 microphones, 40 giant LED screens and a technical and auxiliary team consisting of more than 320 people who designed, produced, manufactured, assembled and provided technical assistance. In addition, the scenography was manufactured at the farewell ceremony in Ifema, as well as all the audiovisual and lighting technical means. For this work, a year of organization and technical planning was required for the entire event that obtained an attendance record.
